Help
“In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more’.” – Acts 20:35.
As a company of believers with a common goal, it is our duty to respond to those in need in whatever capacity we can because it is a cause that is dear to the Father’s heart. The Help Ministry is one of the MIMs (Ministry in Ministry) of PLBC. Through this MIM, we have been able to; pay the school fees of many children, open scholarships for many, feed and clothe the less privileged, provide accommodation for those who can’t afford it, provide a means for people to start up vocational ways earn and many more.
If you would like to join us in putting smiles on the faces of many and warming the Father’s heart, then please don’t hesitate to partner with us for this cause.
Children and Teenage (Youth)
The bible says in Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
The PLBC Children and Teenage (Youth) Ministry has been conceived to raise up youngsters who are not ashamed of their faith (passionate soul winners who love God and seek His heart from an early age) and teach them the importance of this in ways that are relatable to them without deviating from the gospel that we preach.
We see to it that they are flourishing at home, in school (academically) and in life; becoming more useful to God, their loved ones and the society at large.
Financial Ministry
This ministry handles all the financial responsibilities of the parent ministry (PLBC) as a whole; this arm of the ministry ensures that the financial matters are in line with statutory legislation and regulations.
Campus
When God called Pastor Preston to start this great ministry, he was fresh-faced a young chap experiencing his first year in the university.
It is said that the best time for self-discovery is during your late teens and your early twenties. Usually, a lot of youngsters spend this period of their lives in the university.
The campus ministry is targeted at these young folk; to prepare them for life; to help them understand the need to stick to God’s will per time; to groom the leaders and world influencers of tomorrow.
We are invested in their academics, their spirituality, their personal growth, etc., and we have taken it upon ourselves to see to it that they balance all the areas of their lives for maximum effectiveness and productivity. Currently, we have three active campus fellowships in Igbinedion University, Okada, the University of Calabar in Cross River State and University of Benin. Check our contacts for more details.
Missions
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.” – Mark 16:15-16.
We have a role to play in ensuring that gospel reaches the farthest ends of the earth. The goal of this MIM is to spread the message of Christ and plant PLBC wherever we can (villages, towns, inner cities, metropolitan areas, etc.).
Currently, we have six churches, three campus fellowships and other establishments in different parts of the globe and we are working day and night to ensure that we do even more for Jesus.
Administration
“Let all things be done decently and in order.” – 1 Corinthians 14:40.
God respects structure and order. For any organization to run successfully, it needs a working structure to define and oversee all the sublets of the parent body. This is what the administrative arm of PLBC does.
The Administrative MIM initiates, coordinates, and enforces the ministry’s policies, and procedures. The administrative team also sees to the maintenance of all PLBC property (locations and equipments).
Publication and Discipleship
This MIM (ministry in ministry) is responsible for; the production and distribution of all the Ministry’s published materials, keeping all the PLBC outlets abreast of fresh information that is released from the President and training members of the various ministry branches into the leadership system.
Prayer
“The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” – James 5:16.
Prayer is to a believer what the sun is to a plant. Jesus said in Luke 18:1 that men ought to always pray and not to faint. The Prayer MIM in PLBC is made up of a special team of people that works closely with the President to develop a prayer structure for every jurisdiction and the ministry.
The Prayer ministry also intercedes for souls and the state of the world at large. Many testimonies have come to be as a result of the time invested in prayers for peace to reign. If you would like us to intercede for you, please contact us on any number or social medium you see on the contact page.
Media, Sound and IT

TV
One of the strongest influences in the world today is television. If affects what and how people think. It is a medium used to affect our day-to-day choices. We have decided to, not just join the fray, but to be a force to be reckoned with in these last days. To fight and to overshadow the negativity that seems unavoidable through this medium.
Internet
The digital age is definitely the most fast-paced age in the history of mankind. Information is given and exchanged in mere seconds. Most of the information available for consumption is toxic. That is why PLBC has raised a team to make sure that there is an antidote to counter the wrong things you see online every day.
We are active on nigh every social medium and are currently working on reaching even more people through more social media applications. Check our contact page for more details.
Music
Music is a very personal way of expressing love and adoration to the King. Our music team understands how the Spirit works and does not try to impress the people, but to connect them to the Spirit. They are up-to-date on the songs that The President composes or the songs that are always sung per time by The President.
They plan, with the President, the music concerts and programs hosted by the ministry.
Academic Matters
PLBC has birthed this arm to see to it that the academics of her members are not neglected for any reason.
This MIM’s overall responsibility is to monitor the academic performance of PLBC members still in school and cater to their academic needs so that they can adopt excellent habits and practices (studying, attending classes etc.) The Academic MIM ensures that seminars, study groups, pre-exam tests and tutorials are implemented in all jurisdictions. They review results including feedback on assessments. They also work hand in hand with the Campus MIM and other MIMs that are directly involved with students.
PLBC Soldiers In Secular Jobs
“But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.” – 2 Timothy 4:5
PLBC has adopted the culture of Jesus such that wherever we find ourselves, regardless of what we do, we must preach the gospel. This MIM oversees all PLBC members working in secular Jobs. The team has come up with a system whereby they are fully informed on the conditions of the various workplaces of PLBCites in various jurisdictions. The PLBCites in secular jobs are regularly contacted, visited and enlightened on what is expected of them in their various places of work. This MIM monitors the progress of these members in their secular jobs and ensures they keep delivering on excellence and effectively balancing work and ministry and thus projecting the image of Jesus and the ministry in a positive light. They ensure their soul winning endeavours and also implement valid ideas proffered to win souls in their work place. They organize regular workshops and seminars on how to maximize ministry in their work places and how to be effective so no one job will suffer for the other.
International Network
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” – Mark 16:15.
This MIM is focused on international networks (outside Nigeria). They follow the standard of the ministry with flexibility based on the peculiarities of their environment. Paul became all things to win many (1 Corinthians 9:19-23) This MIM is committed to winning and training people to be able to spread the work internationally.
Legal Matters

They also liaise with external solicitors, maintain all registers, signatories, seals, board agendas, minutes and formats in accessible formats and procure necessary work permits for expatriates.
First Timers
It is said that the first impression is the lasting impression. This arm of the ministry (PLBC) guarantees that new members in all jurisdictions are identified, welcomed, treated warmly, courteously and with respect; making them understand that we appreciate and value them. The First-Timers MIM serves as the entry point into the ministry so they are tasked with giving the right education (providing information about what the ministry stands for): our vision, our mission, our goals and norms; so they can effectively connect with the church. They create the right atmosphere for the new comers to ask the questions they have either concerning the service or the ministry etc. They express care by following up newcomers and checking up on their general well-being.
Agape Academy
This is the school arm of the parent ministry. This MIM works hard to enhance the learning environment, apply research and services that support the institutional mission. Every member of the academic staff, regardless of their rank, are responsible for the competent and effective performance of his/her duties/workload expectations and they also foster appropriate relationships with the supervisors, peers, students, and the school. The academic staff participate in committee work, meetings, and providing input on matters relating to curriculum development and the learning environment. They are responsible for meeting the sales targets of the Ministry through effective planning and budgeting.
Health Matters
God isn’t just interested in our spiritual well-being, but our physical well being as well (3 John 2) and to that effect, PLBC created a unit or MIM to provide medical advice and care when needed. The job of this MIM is to give health care to members of the parent ministry at large and also people within any community that PLBC is a part of who cannot afford good medical care. They also confirm the healed and miraculous cases when the President performs healing and miracles.
